Job Description
This is a trainee position for a passionate and motivated 2D artist to join a creative team. The role involves assisting in the creation of 2D art assets for various projects (games, animation, digital media), working closely with senior artists to learn and implement art direction, ensuring art quality and consistency, and participating in creative meetings. Responsibilities include creating assets (characters, environments, props, etc.), refining designs, preparing assets for integration into software/platforms, receiving and implementing feedback, and assisting with other art-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of 2D art techniques and proficiency in software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, along with a portfolio showcasing their skills.

- Assist in creating 2D art assets for various projects, including characters, environments, props, icons, and backgrounds.
- Work closely with senior artists to understand and implement art direction and style.
- Learn and follow project guidelines, ensuring the art is consistent and high-quality.
- Help refine and improve designs, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Participate in brainstorming and creative meetings, offering input and feedback on visual design.
- Prepare assets for integration into various software or platforms, such as game engines, websites, or apps.
- Receive and implement feedback from senior team members to improve artwork.
- Assist with other art-related tasks as needed (e.g., color correction, resizing, etc.).
- Basic understanding of 2D art techniques, including drawing, illustration, and design.
- Fresh to 6 months experience in 2D Art.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- A portfolio or examples of previous art (whether professional or personal projects) showcasing your creativity and skill.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific style guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new artistic skills and techniques.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
