About this role ByteDance is seeking a Transfer Pricing senior or manager based in San Jose office who will become an integral part of our global Tax Department. In this role, you will be providing transfer pricing and tax related support for the United States and surrounding countries within the Americas region, including but not limited to operational transfer pricing, transfer pricing compliance, business support, tax control, tax optimization, and tax audit assistance, etc. This role will face some of the most dynamic challenges in Transfer Pricing and will have plenty of learning and growth opportunities. Responsibilities 1. Liaise and collaborate closely with finance teams to provide ad-hoc advice and solutions. 2. Assist in undertaking internal transfer pricing risk assessment. 3. Prepare functional and financial analyses to reaffirm the existing TP policies. 4. Support the implementation of transfer pricing processes, controls, and monitoring periodically. 5. Manage and implement the transfer pricing price setting, monitoring and review processes. 6. Monitor and review transfer pricing processes. 7. Implement, monitor, and maintain operational transfer pricing processes. 8. Conduct periodic transfer pricing calculations. 9. Collaborate with external consultants to prepare, review, and update contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation and local files. 10. Respond to internal and external transfer pricing tax inquiries, and assist business partners with transfer pricing issues timely. 11. Monitor and analyse proposed and newly enacted transfer pricing legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company operations and financial positions.

Minimum Qualifications 1. At least 5 years of experience in transfer pricing at MNCs, top accounting firms, or similar roles with relevant Bachelor's degree. 2. Proficiency in US transfer pricing; familiarity with other key American countries is a bonus. 3. Proficient in data analysis, detail-oriented and dedicated to high-quality work. 4. Strong time management and verbal communication skills for global collaboration. 5. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships. Preferred Qualifications 1. Preferred experience in the technology, entertainment, or social media sectors. 2. Adept at prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and delivering high-quality work efficiently. 3. Independent worker who excels in fast-paced, dynamic settings. 4.
