The Translation Capability Analyst is part of the Translations Community of Practice within Intelligent Automation team. This role supports the execution of translations technology tooling across Customer Operations by working closely with end translation technology consumers, translations Developers, Business SMEs and the wider Intelligent Automation team. The role’s responsibilities range from supporting new and existing users across Customer Operations, facilitating use case testing, supporting end user incidents raised by business, monitoring translation process performance and exceptions reporting for the API as well as UI and plugin Users.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate testing and issues with individual translation users
  • Update and maintain dictionaries for the concerned content teams
  • Consolidate and provide the issues identified to the CoE lead
  • Support individual translation users for both BAU and testing
  • Perform UAT on the new functionalities/enhancements provided internally and/or externally (3rd party providers)
  • Monitor feedback reports and report to the CoE lead any potential risks / issues
  • Explore and test MT solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent English language
  • Strong Python and VBA Macros
  • Experienced in Business Process Re-Engineering within an agile environment
  • Proven experience of designing and embedding operational process improvements
  • Experience with business / system analysis and requirement documentation
  • Experience delivering system and process training
  • Ability to comfortably communicate changes to colleagues across Customer Operations

Desirable Skills:

  • Lean,Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology training
  • Javascript, CSS or HTML training
  • Understanding and / or interest in robotics automation, development and governance
