Job Summary
Insider, a B2B SaaS company and the #1 AI-native platform for Customer Experience and Marketing, is seeking international researchers for the TUBITAK 2232-B International Leading Researchers Program. This program aims to attract researchers with international experience to Turkey to enhance academic and industrial research capacity, particularly in artificial intelligence. The program offers extensive support including a research startup fund, monthly living allowance, travel support, team building assistance, health insurance, and institutional overhead support. Successful researchers may be appointed to roles like Machine Learning Engineer, Frontend Developer (Vue.js), or Backend Developer (PHP & Go) in Turkey after the support period.
Must Have
- PhD completed within the last 4 years.
- At least 1 year of postdoctoral research experience abroad.
- Under 40 years old at application.
- Listed in Thomson Reuters’ “Highly Cited Researchers List.”
- OR Worked for 12 months at a QS/THE top 150 institution.
- OR 12 months experience in distinguished institutions (Scimago/EC).
Good to Have
- 4 years of full-time work experience post-undergraduate.
- At least 1 year of private sector work experience.
- Additional year per childbirth for female candidates.

Job Description

- Support Duration:
- Minimum: 24 months
- Maximum: 36 months
- Successful researchers may be appointed to the following roles in Turkey after the support period:
- Machine Learning Engineer: Focus on data processing and AI projects.
- Frontend Developer (Vue.js): Work on user interface development and web/mobile projects.
- Backend Developer (PHP & Go): Design and develop performance-oriented backend systems.
- Letter of Commitment (An up to date letter of commitment concretely specifying the benefits that will be provided to the coordinator during the research period, and, in case the host institution is a university, containing course(s) to be lectured by him/her)
- Work Experience Document (Document(s) proving that researchers have full-time research experience abroad (for example, a certificate of employment obtained from human resources showing the applicant’s position, working hours and duration of employment). The uploaded work certificate(s) must show the type and duration of experience specified in the application conditions.)
- Diploma (Original or certified copy of the graduation certificate related to the application (A certified English translation must be submitted if the diploma is not in Turkish or English))
- Residency Proof (Documents proving residency abroad as of the first day of the application (for international researchers, passport photocopy (all pages of the passport with a stamp) for the last 3 years, tax certificate, tenancy agreements or monthly utility bills; for researchers with Turkish citizenship, entry/exit records obtained from edevlet portal for the last 3 years as of the first day of the application; for researchers with dual citizenship entry/exit records taken from both countries)).
