The Turquoise Luminex Business Development Lead will manage client interactions and relationships on the new Turquoise Luminex block trading platform, including leading technical and operational issues. The role involves ensuring efficient platform usage for clients, analyzing data for successful outcomes, and representing the company in the marketplace. The candidate must have experience in European and UK equity trading, knowledge of data analytics, and an established network of industry participants, as well as be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills.

Job Details

Job profile - Are you someone who is passionate about new challenges? This is a lead role in a brand-new project! The Turquoise Luminex Business Development Lead will run and support client interactions and relationships on our new block trading platform Turquoise Luminex. This will also include leading technical and operational issues. The role sits within the Equities Trading team reporting to the Head of Business Development. This is an exciting new product launch so requires a dynamic individual with related experience and an understanding of the industry and trading specifically.  

 

Enter the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the day to day customer coverage and interactions on our Turquoise Luminex platform
  • Ensure clients usage of the platform is efficient, including handling log ins, firm ups and missed opportunities.   
  • Analyse individual, firm and group data to ensure successful outcomes for all customers.

Enter the crucial experience and skills required:

  • Extensive experience of European and ideally UK equity trading landscape and market structure.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and management strategies preferable.
  • Deep knowledge of global capital markets as well as LSEG’s business, members, products, services, competitive and regulatory landscape.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and management strategies preferable.
  • Ability to represent the company in the marketplace with clients, industry bodies and participate in industry events and public meetings.
  • Established and extensive network of industry participants across customer segments
  • A focus on delivering against objectives including direct communication on the delivery of key initiatives and related metrics
  • Self-motivating and resilient with the ability to work independently as well as within a wider team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must as the candidate will act as a consultant to clients and external partners.
  • Show flexibility in relation to working hours
