UI Programmer
Job Summary
Job Description
This UI Programmer role involves collaborating with game design and art teams to understand UI requirements and implement user-friendly, reliable, and consistent in-game UI. Responsibilities include assisting in the definition and implementation of UI A/B tests. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work within the UK/EU. This role focuses on creating and maintaining UI code within a game development environment.
Must have:
- 2+ years experience developing or maintaining UI code.
- Experience implementing UI using Unity, in either NGUI, uGUI.
- Working knowledge of C#.
- Familiarity with standard 2D file formats such as .PNG, .JPEG and .PSD.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git, Perforce or SVN.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal capacities.
- Able to work in UK/ EU
Good to have:
- Experience of using metrics to refine features.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop.
- Experience working on mobile platforms.
