Job Description

Papaya, a leading mobile game company based in Tel Aviv, seeks a talented UI/UX Designer to join their Art department. Responsibilities include the full design cycle, from initial concept and research to pixel-perfect UI implementation across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, developers, and the Art team to create engaging and intuitive game designs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of UI/UX design experience (preferably in gaming), exceptional Photoshop skills, strong artistic abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The role demands creativity, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.

Must have:

2+ years UI/UX experience (gaming preferred)
Excellent Photoshop skills
Strong artistic skills and creativity
Pixel-perfect attention to detail
Collaboration and communication skills

Good to have:

Description

Papaya is one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment for millions of users across multiple apps. The company is headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv.

We are looking for a talented UI/UX designer who's excited about working in the gaming industry. If you have proven experience with UI/UX Design and are passionate about games, you’ll be perfect for us!. You will be part of the Art department and work closely with an Art director to research, conceptualize and create UI designs for our web products and mobile games.

Responsibilities

Conduct a full design cycle from collecting inspiration to creating a pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios and delivering to development.
Create high-quality functional user flows, wireframes, and mockups for our games.
Collaborate daily with Product Managers, software developers, and Art team members to define, design, and deliver extraordinary products.
Create fun, playful, intuitive, cohesive look & feel designs for new features.
Brainstorming with the Art team to develop new and innovative UI ideas.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in UI\UX and interactive design, preferably in product teams or gaming.
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop.
Strong artistic skills, creativity, design, illustration, color, composition, and conceptual ideation abilities.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, quick decision making within tight schedules, without sacrificing quality.
Desire to learn new things and focus on solving complex product problems.
Pixel-perfect with attention to the smallest of details.
A creative team player with good communication skills.
Experience working in the gaming industry- advantage.
