What You Will Do:
We are an art-centric quality-driven R&D team, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unreal Engine Technical Artist to join our team. As a Unreal Engine Technical Artist, you will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including Design, Motion, AI, and Engineering. Your expertise in Unreal Engine, multi-GPU arrays, shader authoring, dynamic elements, Python scripting, and industry trends will be crucial in ensuring the success of our productions.
- Provide technical support to artists and animators, devising tools tailored to enhance their workflow efficiency according to their preferred methods of working.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and visually appealing Unreal Engine solutions.
- Work with programmers/engineers to ensure proprietary applications include necessary features that allow technicians to successfully operate Unreal Engine on multi-GPU arrays.
- Develop and author shaders in Unreal Engine, including dynamic elements that can be modified in real-time to create visually stunning and immersive experiences.
- Author workflow scripts between DCC tools using Python, facilitating seamless integration and efficient workflows for the art and development teams.
- Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies, constantly seeking opportunities to improve processes and leverage new tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of our productions.
- Push the limits, try new technologies, take calculated risks, and proactively search for the best solutions and ideas in the marketplace to ensure our projects are at the forefront of innovation.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proficient in Unreal Engine blueprint and pose node systems, capable of implementing complex mechanics and visual effects.
- Strong knowledge of the real-time development pipeline and the ability to establish efficient workflows between DCC tools (Maya, Houdini, etc.) and Unreal Engine.
- Skilled in writing custom tools and scripts using programming languages such as Python or C++ to automate tasks and support the art and development teams.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques, including profiling, debugging, and memory management in Unreal Engine.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous work in Unreal Engine, showcasing your technical proficiency and creative problem-solving abilities.

Benefits:
The base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $200,000 USD per year. Actual pay is based on location and may vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience from the candidate.
