We are seeking an experienced US Indirect Tax Manager to lead the US Sales/Use Tax Compliance process. This person will actively partner with key team members, including Accounting, Revenue, Procurement, IT and Treasury to ensure that the US indirect tax returns are prepared, submitted, and paid timely!
What you'll be doing:
Work with our compliance teams on monthly U.S. indirect tax filings, including but not limited to, Sales/Use Tax, Gross Receipts, B&O and other local tax filings.
Reconcile our transaction tax general ledger accounts per the ERP back to source systems and the OneSource Tax Engine.
Monitor local (City/District/County) sales/use tax registration requirements and submit new registrations as needed.
Use best in class technology solutions to develop, improve and implement process improvements within the indirect tax reporting function.
Partner with current Indirect Tax Manager to lead data requests related to US Sales/Use Tax Audits.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
7+ overall years of US Indirect Tax experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate in-house.
Experience preparing and submitting US Sales/Use Tax returns across all states.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision to ensure success of indirect tax compliance.
Outstanding teammate who is flexible and able to work with several business teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Prefer strong experience with Excel and indirect tax return preparation.
Experience with indirect return preparation software such as OneSource, and/or state return portal upload templates. Alteryx and/or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) data management tools.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience and CPA highly preferred.
SAP (including S4/HANA) and indirect tax engine.

The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
