This is a Full Time Req for our client – a Virginia based products and consulting company focused on providing innovative health care IT solutions. While the client is open to 100% remote, candidates who are local and can work in a Hybrid mannerThey are looking to hire a UX Designer to work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX researchers, product owners, business analysts, developers and other stakeholders in an iterative and feedback-driven process to create high-quality UX design solutions and simulated online environments for user experience research
As the ideal candidate, you will need to -
- Synthesize user needs and business objectives to create testable prototypes and validate hypotheses; generate essential deliverables including user journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes
- Rapidly prototype and create human-centric designs that represent optimal solutions for end users
- Develop high quality visual layouts and interfaces based on user research, business requirements and technical constraints
- Create and maintain up-to-date style guides and design libraries along with components and business patterns
- Collaborate closely with the User Experience team and take on user research and business analysis responsibilities, extending beyond the typical UX Designer role
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of user research, usability testing and analysis
- Proficiency wireframing and prototyping using Figma required. Experience with other design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent is good to have
- Portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design projects and processes.
- Excellent collaboration as well as verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently are contingent upon one's eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal public trust.
