Job Description

Provide end-to-end development solutions for a major investment banking product. Scale the technology stack using cloud-based services within the Payment Settlement stream. Responsibilities include UI/UX design using various tools, prototyping, modern web application design for microservices backends, solution definition, user-centric design, innovative problem-solving within the financial domain, and excellent communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable in an Agile environment. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is required.

Must have:

4-6 years UX design experience
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
Web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
Prototyping skills
User-centric design expertise
Financial domain UI/UX knowledge
Agile environment experience

Good to have:

Understanding of deployments and DevOps
CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins/Git/GitHub)
Investment banking project experience
Responsive design, cross-browser compatibility
WordPress (intermediate)
Version control (SVN)
Mailchimp

Project description

Provide End to End Development solutions to one of the largest investment banking products by scaling up the latest technology stack by adopting the cloud-based services under the Payment Settlement stream.

Responsibilities

Solid proficiency in a variety of design tools. Prototyping skills are expected.

Experience in modern web application design over a micro-services back-end.

Expertise in conceptualization and solution definition.

Expert in User-Centric Design Principles and Practices.

Innovative thinking, able to creativity to problem-solving.

Core competency in the financial domain of User Interface and User Experience.

Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills.

A detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in an Agile development environment where teams will be working at different paces.

Must have

Overall, 4-6 years of relevant experience as a UX designer or in a UX-related role

UI/UX Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma

Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Foundation, JavaScript, jQuery

Prototyping Tools: Invision, Pencil, Balsamiq

Additional Skills: Responsive Design, Cross-Browser Compatibility, Device Compatibility, Dreamweaver, Optimizing Load Speed, WordPress (Intermediate), Version Control (SVN), MailchimpNice to Have Skills

Nice to have

Fair understanding of deployments and DevOps

Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines through Jenkins/Git/Github/Github Actions
