As a UX Designer for Rainbow Six Siege, you'll contribute to the game's user experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with game designers and artists on controls and inputs for a fluid player experience, ensuring cross-platform consistency (PC, Consoles), collaborating with UX Designers and direction for coherent design, planning qualitative and quantitative research (playtests), documenting UI/UX specifications, and monitoring implementation. You will need a design degree, strong UX knowledge, a portfolio showcasing exceptional UX, and proficiency in prototyping tools like Figma or similar. The role demands a user-focused approach, strong communication, and fluency in English.

Job Description

Rainbow Six Siege is the acclaimed first-person shooter franchise. Inspired by the reality of counter terrorist operatives across the world, Rainbow Six Siege invites players to master the art of destruction. Intense close quarters confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and explosive action are at the center of the experience.

As UX Designer (f/m/d) you will participate in the conception and production of the user experience of the game. To achieve this goal, you will work within the design constraints and collaborate with other departments to deliver intuitive and user-centered design solutions.

What you will do:

  • Work with game designers and artists to determine the best controls and inputs to support game features for a fluid and consistent player experience.
  • Make sure the experience is consistent across multiple platforms (PC, Consoles).
  • Close collaboration with UX Designers and UX Direction, to ensure a project wide coherent UX design.
  • Plan qualitative and quantitative research, including playtests, to validate and evaluate design concepts.
  • Document and share clear specifications of UI/UX components.
  • Follow-up on final implementation of all features to ensure proper execution.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Degree in design, UX design or related disciplines.  
  • Profound knowledge of UX concepts, workflow and methodology.
  • Portfolio showing your ability to innovate and design exceptional user experiences.
  • The ability to work within a continuous flow environment (ability to think holistically while building and learning iteratively).
  • Profound knowledge of interaction design and user behavior.
  • Proficiency in at least 1 prototyping tool (Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, or similar)
  • Ability to create functional prototypes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to rely on a user-focused design approach.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
