Job Description
Google is seeking a Vendor Operations Manager to join their gTech team in Dublin, Ireland. This role will involve managing relationships with vendor service providers, overseeing a large vendor network, evaluating vendor performance, identifying process improvements, leading vendor selection and forecasting, and managing vendor-related activities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in operations or business management, vendor management, and using analytics or project management tools. Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic skills are essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage the relationships with the vendor service providers, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to ensure high-quality output and successful outcomes. Oversee a large vendor network distributed across different suppliers and sites.
- Evaluate vendor performance against key metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Address performance issues promptly and collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions.
- Identify process, tools, data and metrics improvements, and partner with Product, Tools, Analytics and Process Excellence teams to address gaps, solve operational challenges at scale.
- Lead vendor selection, forecasting, resource and budget planning for vendor operations. Contribute to the long-term operational strategy and support model decisions for your workflows.
- Manage Purchase Orders, invoices and other vendor related activities on a day-to-day basis such as tools access, on-boarding, training, etc.
