Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg seeks a Responsible Electrical Engineer (VEFK) for General Assembly. The VEFK will be the responsible initiator and coordinator for all electrical processes related to Drive Unit manufacturing. Responsibilities include ordering electricians, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments, creating and delivering work instructions, implementing safety measures to protect employees from electrical hazards, preventing damage to property and the environment through fire and explosion protection measures (especially concerning battery cells), ensuring machine, plant, and workplace safety through inspections and maintenance, managing electrical quality and acceptance, performing regular plant inspections, establishing and maintaining operational procedures, and supporting workplace safety, environmental protection, and health initiatives. The role also involves electrical acceptance of machinery and plants, and providing support during commissioning of electrical systems.
Must have:
- Completed Electrotechnics training (technician/master) or equivalent
- VEFK qualification (DIN VDE 0105-100)
- Experience with VDE laws and standards
- Experience with electrical systems operation and organization
- Proficient in MS Office, German or English
Good to have:
- Industrial electrical installation experience
- High-voltage main distribution maintenance experience
- Machine and plant validation knowledge
- Knowledge of Directive 2006/42/EG (Machinery Directive)
- Leadership experience

What You’ll Do- Die VEFK trägt als verantwortlicher Initiator und Koordinator die elektrotechnische Verantwortung für alle Vorgänge in der Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, die mit der Herstellung unserer Drive Units einhergehen
- Bestellen von Elektrofachkräften
- Die Einhaltung geltender Gesetze, Normen und Berufsgenossenschaftsvorschriften
- Durchführung von Gefährdungsbeurteilungen, Erstellen von Arbeits- und Betriebsanweisungen und deren Unterweisung
- Die Sicherstellung, Einführung und Umsetzung von Maßnahmen die dem Schutz der Beschäftigten vor elektrischen Gefahren und deren Folgen dienen
- Abwendung von Schäden an Eigentum und Umwelt durch geeignete Brand und Explosionsschutzmaßnahmen in Bezug auf Batteriezellen-Gefahren
- Sicherstellung der Maschinen-, Anlagen und Arbeitsplatzsicherheit durch Organisation und Dokumentation der vorgesehenen Wiederholungsprüfungen, Einführung von Verbesserungen, Überwachung der ordnungsgemäßen Instandhaltung und Beseitigung von Mängeln
- Elektrisches Qualitäts- und Abnahmemanagement, inklusive Audits
- Regelmäßige Anlagenbegehungen, zur Sicherstellung zur Prüfung der Vorgaben
- Aufbau und Pflege von fachlich betrieblichen Verfahrens-, Betriebs- und Montageanweisungen für die verschiedenen Funktionsgruppen und Tätigkeiten in der Produktion
- Elektrische Abnahme der Maschinen und Anlagen und fachliche Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme von elektrischen Anlagen
- Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung von Aufgaben zur Verbesserung der Arbeitssicherheit sowie des Umwelt- und Gesundheitsschutzes
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung (Techniker*in / Meister*in) im Bereich Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbare Fachrichtung, alternativ äquivalentes Studium
- Qualifikation zur Erfüllung der Aufgaben als verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft nach DIN VDE 0105-100 zwingend erforderlich
- Einschlägige Erfahrung zu Inhalt und Interpretation zu Gesetzen und Normen der VDE
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Betrieb und Organisation der elektrischen Anlagen
- Idealerweise Erfahrung in der Installation von Industrieelektrikanlagen und Instandhaltung von Mittelspannungshauptverteilung
- Kenntnisse zur Validierung von Maschinen und Anlagen wünschenswert
- Kenntnisse in der Anwendung der Richtlinie 2006/42/EG (Maschinenrichtlinie) wünschenswert
- Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office
- Gute Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse
- Erste Führungserfahrung
- Eigenverantwortliches, strukturiertes und selbstständiges Arbeiten sowie Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
