What To Expect

The Energy Technical Content team creates and manages a wide variety of technical documents, illustrations, videos, and animations that support key stakeholders across multiple product lines and business functions including Energy Storage, Charging, and Solar. The team is looking for a senior-level video producer who has experience working with technical subject matter experts to conceptualize, plan, shoot, edit, and deliver entire sets of technical video content for various product lines. This is a hands-on role that requires full ownership of all stages of video planning/production and video content management. This role is full-time onsite in San Jose, CA.

What You'll Do

Plan, write, and develop scripts, shot lists, and storyboards that present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and engaging format, and that will be translated to a high-quality video assetCollaborate closely with technical subject matter experts and stakeholders to proactively plan and scope requirements for training videos across various product linesCreate a wide variety of digital content, including videos, motion graphics, animated callouts, photographs, etcDrive the localization of video content and related assets for global markets to fulfill region-specific requirementsManage tasks and information flow using available project management tools, including JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence

What You'll Bring

5+ years of video content development experience working with technical subject matter experts, or in a similar product-focused roleExperience using industry-standard camera equipment (e.g. DJI, Sony, GoPro, etc.) in a professional shooting environment to achieve a desired look from a shot listProficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects for use in video content projectsExperience with managing the lighting, audio recording, and motion graphics aspects of a video-centric content projectAbility to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally with multiple teams (engineering, quality, service, safety, etc.) toward a common end goalExperience with 3D Animation and/or motion graphics is preferredExperience using drones for video capture is preferred

Expected Compensation

$64,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
