About The Role

Seeking Alpha is on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Video Production Specialist to join our growing team. As a key player in our marketing organization, you will be responsible for helping scale up Seeking Alpha’s video content offering, specifically assisting in the entirety of the video production lifecycle. You must be capable of developing a deep understanding of the SA brand, products, and audiences. The Video Production Specialist will report to the Senior Creative Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Big Ideas: Bring creativity to the table and be heard. This opportunity works with an incredible team of thinkers and doers on how to execute things bigger and better while maintaining real value for the audience
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to help the Senior Creative Marketing Manager conceptualize new video products in terms of content, workflow, resources, and commercial impact. The candidate should be proactive and creative in helping establish new processes to get the products into the market. 
  • Manage Media Projects: Collaborate well with Producers, Acquisition Managers, Social Media Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Designers, and other teams to bring productions to life
  • Talent Booking: Engage in outreach, coordination of scheduling, and producing of individual talent segments
  • Media Distribution: Ensure proper content distribution and marketing requirements are followed and fulfilled.
  • Data First: Understand how specific audiences engage with video content across various mediums and leverage that into driving increasing viewership and engagement
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and implement new production and distribution techniques
  • Software Execution: This position will require you to run backend software during live or simulative events as well as edit content at times for various distribution channels

Requirements

  • A proven video background that encompasses creative ideation and pitching, pre-production, post-production, and distribution of content. This is paramount. We don’t mind if you don’t understand the stock market, but you do need to have extensive knowledge of video creation. 
  • You will be working hands-on with various software platforms, an amazing team of marketers, copywriters, and more. We leverage our international team to make amazing content that provides real value to our audience.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and with minimal revisions.
  • Extensive knowledge of JIRA (or similar management software,) Google Sheets, Google Docs, Vimeo, and YouTube is required. 

The applicable salary range for this position is $70,000/yr to $85,000/yr which depends on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand
