As a Video Standards and Encoder Optimization Intern, you will contribute to the development and improvement of video coding technologies. Responsibilities include conducting research on video compression and processing, optimizing video encoders for enhanced performance and quality, and collaborating with engineers and researchers. The ideal candidate possesses a master's or PhD in a relevant field (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.), experience in image/video compression or processing, and proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python. A strong understanding of video compression algorithms and experience with codecs like HEVC, AV1, VVC, or AVS is preferred. The internship is full-time and located in Palo Alto.
