Virtual Camera Operator

Maverick Games seeks a Virtual Camera Operator to collaborate with the Director of Photography and other stakeholders in creating cinematic sequences for an exciting new AAA IP. Responsibilities include crafting aesthetically pleasing camera motion and compositions, pushing boundaries in game cinematics, collaborating with a multi-discipline team, defining cinematic sequences and cutscenes, and composing shots that convey narrative, emotion, and gameplay information. The role also involves close collaboration with editors to ensure seamless integration of virtual camera work into final cinematic sequences. The ideal candidate will have a background in traditional film/video camera operation and a keen eye for detail. The role involves using established cinematic principles and thinking outside the box to raise the quality bar in design, art, and animation for AAA game development.
