Job Overview

We’re seeking a Visual Content Designer who thrives on learning, self-teaching, and staying ahead of the curve in design trends. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with new platforms and bring your creative vision to life in the gaming world.

What will you do?

 

  • Lead the creative execution of visual content, taking ownership of the entire process from concept to final delivery.

  • Execute the creative strategy and roadmap outlined by the social media stakeholder.

  • Produce art requests for articles, Twitch streams, and other publishing mediums as they arise.

  • Create original 2D assets to support major product beats and for opportunistic content (including memes).

  • Edit video content for social platforms (vertical and horizontal), including but not limited to:

    • Content captured by our development team.

    • Gameplay clips with post-editing incorporating industry trends.

    • Filmed content for sketches or informational purposes.

  • Drive the creative vision for the visual aspects of our Social Media and Community Platform content.

  • Experiment with new design techniques, tools, and formats to continually elevate the visual quality of our content.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop visual content that aligns with marketing and community engagement goals.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders across social media, marketing, and development teams to ensure alignment on visual content goals.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets.

  • Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and undergoes thorough quality assurance checks before publication.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in 2D design and video editing, ensuring our content remains fresh and engaging.

  • Handle ad-hoc design and editing requests from other teams, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.

  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for content creation.

  • Use insights from social media analytics to refine and optimize visual content, ensuring it resonates with our target audience.

  • Adapt to a fast-paced, hybrid work environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and consistent delivery of creative assets.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • 2+ years of professional experience in producing 2D art and graphic design, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.

  • 1+ years of experience in social media content creation.

  • Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD; familiarity with tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in video editing for social platforms (including shorts) using Adobe Premiere, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

  • Knowledge and ability to apply current social media art and video trends (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.).

  • Experience in evaluating social media analytics and executing design changes based on performance.

  • Ability to work in a structured, project-based environment with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to execute ad-hoc requests when opportunities for virality or impression farming arise.

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with social media, marketing, and development teams to produce cohesive visual content.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to execute creative ideas with minimal guidance.

  • Strong theoretical understanding of color usage, typography, and layouts for social media.

  • Proven ability to tell compelling stories through visual content, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

  • Ability to execute creative storytelling from storyboards and creative meetings.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality content under tight deadlines.

  • A proactive approach to continuous learning, staying informed about the latest trends in visual content creation, and adapting to new tools and technologies as they emerge.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment, with excellent self-management and communication skills.

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
