Job Description

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be crucial in creating an excellent customer journey by elevating the collection in an inspiring and commercially savvy way. Your role aims to maximize customer service and drive sales performance. Key responsibilities include offering styling advice, analyzing sales data for visual direction, installing window displays, creating inspiring outfits, merchandising stock, supporting sales staff, setting visual merchandising standards, training the team, and being a brand ambassador.
Must Have:
  • Curate excellent customer journeys and elevate collections to drive sales.
  • Analyze selling information for visual direction and install window displays.
  • Create inspiring outfits and style mannequins according to company directives.
  • Set visual merchandising standards and train the store team.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, providing high-level customer service.
  • Possess strong understanding of fashion trends, VM guidelines, and commercial KPIs.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Dutch (read, written, spoken).
  • Demonstrate teamwork, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to constant improvement.
  • Proven track record of delivering high VM standards and managing store activations.

Job Description

As the Visual Merchandiser, you'll play a pivotal role in curating an excellent customer journey within the store. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to elevate the collection in a way that's both inspiring and commercially savvy, aimed at maximising both indirect and direct customer service while driving sales performance to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering customers a high level of service through styling advice, product knowledge and store experience
  • Analysing selling information and taking responsibility for the visual direction of the store
  • Installing window displays
  • Creating inspiring outfits and styling mannequins
  • Merchandising stock on the shop floor as per company directives
  • Supporting the sales staff with store operations
  • Setting the visual merchandising standard for the store and training the team
  • Being a brand ambassador and providing the best experience for our customers

What You Need to Succeed:

Knowledge

  • An understanding of the latest trends, fashion and silhouettes
  • Experience working with visual-merchandising guidelines, including window display and mannequin styling.
  • Experience taking informed VM actions based on commercial KPIs and sales data.
  • Fluent in English and good Dutch level - Read, written and spoken

  • You have a strong interest in fashion, VM strategy and trends
  • You should be motivated by elevating customer experience in-store through visual outputs and direct customer service
  • You are open to learning new things and developing professionally and personally

  • You have experience managing store VM activations including window and mannequin changes, promotional set-ups and season-start layouts
  • You have experienced success in collaborating with other managers/colleagues to achieve store goals
