Introduction

As a Visualization Engineer/Full Stack Developer, you will be reporting to the Scaling Project Manager to support Digital Manufacturing initiatives, and you will play a crucial role by developing and deploying interactive data visualizations and full-stack digital applications that optimize and improve manufacturing processes. You will develop impactful digital applications that directly contribute to the success of our digital transformation initiatives.

Your Job

  • Work closely with the Scaling Project Manager, data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements of digital manufacturing applications.
  • Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to extract and transform relevant data for visualization.
  • Create visualizations that are visually appealing, easy to understand, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop 3D models and simulations to represent manufacturing processes, equipment, and products.
  • Integrate 3D models with data visualization tools to provide a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Explore the use of VR and AR technologies to enhance training, collaboration, and problem-solving within the manufacturing environment.
  • Contribute to the development of full-stack applications that support visualization and other digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of visualization components.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend services that power visualization applications.
  • Implement robust data management and storage solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to users of visualization tools and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to visualization systems and full-stack applications.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of visualization and development projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, or related fields
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in data visualization and full-stack development with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Experience with version control systems and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability work independently and as part of the cross-functional team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for building high-quality digital applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields.
  • Experience with VR and AR technologies is a plus.
