Introduction

As a Visualization Engineer/Full Stack Developer, you will be reporting to the Scaling Project Manager to support Digital Manufacturing initiatives, and you will play a crucial role by developing and deploying interactive data visualizations and full-stack digital applications that optimize and improve manufacturing processes. You will develop impactful digital applications that directly contribute to the success of our digital transformation initiatives.

Your Job

Work closely with the Scaling Project Manager, data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements of digital manufacturing applications.

Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.

Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to extract and transform relevant data for visualization.

Create visualizations that are visually appealing, easy to understand, and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop 3D models and simulations to represent manufacturing processes, equipment, and products.

Integrate 3D models with data visualization tools to provide a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations.

Explore the use of VR and AR technologies to enhance training, collaboration, and problem-solving within the manufacturing environment.

Contribute to the development of full-stack applications that support visualization and other digital manufacturing initiatives.

Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of visualization components.

Develop and maintain APIs and backend services that power visualization applications.

Implement robust data management and storage solutions.

Provide technical support and training to users of visualization tools and applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to visualization systems and full-stack applications.

Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of visualization and development projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, or related fields

A minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in data visualization and full-stack development with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.

Experience with API development and integration.

Experience with version control systems and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability work independently and as part of the cross-functional team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for building high-quality digital applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields.

Experience with VR and AR technologies is a plus.
