The VP will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, and order/invoice processing. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting according to GAAP, manages accounting operations, and develops the strategic vision for accounting functions. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax reporting; leading the accounting team; overseeing invoicing and order processing; collaborating with sales and operations teams; ensuring compliance with GAAP; reviewing audit results; and supporting the CFO in financial planning. The role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (required)
- CPA or equivalent professional certification (required)
- 10+ years accounting experience, 5+ years leadership
Good to have:
- Big Four accounting experience and an active CPA
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA

About the Role/ The Opportunity:
The VP will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, order and invoice processing across the organization. This role will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), manage accounting operations, and drive the strategic vision for accounting functions in alignment with corporate goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the entire accounting function, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax reporting, and financial analysis.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to accounting team members. - Oversee the invoicing & Order processing department, ensuring timely and accurate billing of clients and customers.
- Manage the order processing workflow to ensure the efficient and accurate recording of orders, transactions, and related financial data.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure that invoicing and order processing are aligned with business operations and customer expectations.
- Ensure the preparation and timely filing of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Review internal and external audit results and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies.
- Support the CFO in developing financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide actionable insights and analyses to guide strategic business decisions.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional certification (required).
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred).
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- You have Big Four accounting experience and an active CPA
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
