Job Description

The VP of Marketing at Outfit7 will develop and lead a commercially focused marketing function, aligning with overall business goals. This role requires proposing new approaches and executing high-performance marketing strategies, balancing performance marketing and brand initiatives. Responsibilities include leading marketing sub-departments, overseeing user acquisition channels, contributing to senior leadership discussions, translating company needs into effective marketing strategies, and fostering a collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading and scaling marketing teams in the mobile games industry, possess deep performance marketing expertise, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Job Details

In this role you will

  • Develop and lead a commercially focused, value-adding marketing function, in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Propose new approaches, and execute high-performance marketing strategies, balancing performance marketing and brand initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging practices, technologies, and trends to optimize brand awareness and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead all marketing sub-departments in delivering impactful campaigns and initiatives, optimizing current practices and finding new opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee management of user acquisition channels (organic, cross-promotion, paid) to address challenges and leverage opportunities across various user inflow sources.
  • Serve as a key contributor to senior leadership discussions, providing valuable insights to strategies and ensuring marketing's alignment with company priorities.
  • Translate the company’s needs into effective marketing strategies and distribution approaches.
  • Foster a proactive, solution-oriented team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

  • Deep understanding of the games industry and the ability to connect creative efforts with measurable business results.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, capable of fostering collaboration and cohesion within marketing teams and cross-functional departments.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach; willing to roll up sleeves to drive results and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance metrics and continuously optimize for cost efficiency and maximum value.

Your experience

  • Proven track record of leading and scaling marketing teams in the games industry, specifically in the mobile games industry.
  • Extensive experience in performance marketing, including managing campaigns across diverse user acquisition channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative approaches and implement emerging practices, technologies, and trends.
  • Senior leadership experience with a history of contributing to high-level strategic discussions and decision-making.
  • Experience in building and managing integrated marketing teams that deliver results in a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with managing budgets, evaluating ROI, and ensuring compliance with company governance standards.
