Job Description

The Vice President of Treasury and Tax is a key leadership role responsible for the company’s global treasury and tax functions. This individual will oversee liquidity management, cash forecasting, capital structure strategy, and will work closely with the Senior Tax Director (Head of Tax) on tax oversight. The role involves developing and implementing global cash management strategies, overseeing cash forecasting, managing banking relationships, and establishing treasury policies. Additionally, the role will support global tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. The candidate will need to partner with other teams to align treasury and tax functions and provide strategic insights to the CFO and executive team. The position demands leadership and development of a high-performing treasury and tax team.

Must have:

10+ years of experience in treasury, tax, and financial leadership.
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models and international tax regulations.
Experience in global cash management and capital structure optimization.
Expertise in tax planning, compliance, and audit management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

What You’ll Do:

Treasury Management:

Develop and implement global cash management strategies to optimize liquidity, reduce risk, and enhance return on cash investments.
Oversee cash forecasting, capital allocation, and working capital management.
Manage banking relationships, debt financing, and investment strategies.
Establish treasury policies, controls, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Direct reports – Treasury Analyst and Collections Manager

Tax Strategy and Compliance:

Work closely with our Senior Tax Director to support as required with:
- global tax strategy, including transfer pricing, international tax structuring, and compliance.
- compliance with U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
- tax reporting, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
- optimization of tax efficiency in business transactions, including M&A and cross-border operations.
Direct report – Senior Tax Director

What You Need to Succeed:

Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Operations teams to align treasury and tax functions with overall financial objectives.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive team regarding cash management, funding strategies, and tax implications.
Lead and develop a high-performing treasury and tax team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

10+ years of progressive experience in treasury, tax, and financial leadership roles, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models, ASC 606, and international tax regulations.
Proven experience in global cash management, foreign exchange risk management, and capital structure optimization.
Expertise in tax planning, compliance, and audit management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
