We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Web Design Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end development of web-based projects. This role requires leading teams in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable websites and web applications. Responsibilities include coordinating with managers and account managers to ensure projects exceed client expectations and meet business goals, improving client meetings to understand visions and build relationships, and communicating project progress and estimates. The supervisor will also take ownership of specific design areas like mockups, PPC ads, banners, and emails, and maintain design guides and libraries for efficiency and quality.

Position Overview:
* This is a 12-month full-time temporary position
We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Web Design Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end development of our web-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, proven leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to lead teams in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable websites and web applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continually Improve the talent, loyalty, and empathy of our team of graphic designers.
- Coordinate with your manager, other supervisors, and Account Managers to ensure new site designs, redesigns, and custom projects exceed client expectations, and meet business goals.
- Oversee and improve client meetings to better understand our clients’ visions, branding, and design or project ideas, and to build relationships and establish expectations.
- Communicate with Account Managers and clients to inform them about the progress of design projects, and project estimates and quotes.
- Work with Account Managers to help them understand best practices and design limitations, and how to enhance task creation to improve current project workflow, speed, and accuracy of estimates.
- Take ownership of assigned management zones: website mockups, PPC ad design, website banner and graphic design, email design.
- Maintain the Design Guide(s) and Design Library to establish rules, organization, and best practices that improve the quality and efficiency of the design team’s work.
- Regularly review processes for quality and efficiency, and design tasks (on a weekly basis), including site and page designs, ad and banner designs, and email designs.
- Ensure designers regularly upload organized design files to the Design Library to maintain backups and accessibility for other design team members.

- Experience with designing cohesive website mockups, online advertising (PPC), emails, and optimized web graphics.
- Understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion.
- Experience with HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Advanced current web design trends and techniques.
- Ability to create or obtain graphics for websites and ads, such as icons, user interface elements, and photographs.
