Job Summary

GameChanger is seeking a Webflow Developer to join its growing marketing team. This role involves building and maintaining core digital experiences, collaborating with data, analytics, product, design, and marketing teams. The developer will focus on hands-on website development, performance optimization, SEO/AEO strategy, and data-driven iteration. Key responsibilities include leading the daily execution and long-term evolution of the website, ensuring it is fast, secure, search-friendly, and continuously improving to support the company's mission in youth sports.

Must Have

  • Build new pages, components, and full site experiences in Webflow with a clean, scalable structure, observing brand guidelines.
  • Maintain existing Webflow experience, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across devices.
  • Manage security certificates, hosting, redirects, and overall website health.
  • Implement design systems, CMS structures, and reusable components within Webflow.
  • Implement page and technical SEO best practices to increase organic visibility and traffic.
  • Support AEO strategies, including schema markup, structured content, and content organization.
  • Conduct keyword research, metadata optimization, and site audits.
  • Maintain website performance, including uptime, load speed, CDN usage, and core web vitals.
  • Conduct regular hygiene tasks such as link audits, CMS cleanup, redirect mapping, and accessibility improvements.
  • Find and address security vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies, and Webflow-specific risks.
  • Partner with data and analytics team to set up meaningful tracking, reporting, and insights.
  • Design and implement A/B tests, multivariate tests, and UX experiments.
  • Use insights to help refine copy, design, layout, user funnels, and interactions.
  • 4+ years of professional Webflow experience, including hands-on ownership of production Webflow sites.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Webflow's visual development ecosystem.
  • Experience with technical and on-page SEO.
  • Understanding of AEO practices.
  • Grasp of web performance metrics and website optimization tools.
  • Experience managing SSL certificates, hosting, and general website security best practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and working with data or experimentation teams.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with JavaScript.
  • Experience with Webflow Logic, Memberships, or integrations.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Experience working with APIs or light JavaScript scripting.
  • Background in CRO, UX writing, or content strategy.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

Webflow Development & Site Management

  • Build new pages, components, and full site experiences in Webflow with a clean, scalable structure, observing our brand guidelines.
  • Maintain existing Webflow experience, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across devices.
  • Manage security certificates, hosting, redirects, and overall website health.
  • Implement design systems, CMS structures, and reusable components within Webflow.

SEO and AEO Optimization

  • Implement page and technical SEO best practices to increase organic visibility and traffic.
  • Support AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies, including schema markup, structured content, and content organization to improve for AI search and answer platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, metadata optimization, and site audits to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

Website Hygiene and Performance

  • Maintain website performance, including uptime, load speed, CDN usage, and core web vitals.
  • Conduct regular hygiene tasks such as link audits, CMS cleanup, redirect mapping, and accessibility improvements.
  • Find and address security vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies, and Webflow-specific risks.

Testing, Analytics, and Optimization

  • Partner with our data and analytics team to set up meaningful tracking, reporting, and insights.
  • Design and implement A/B tests, multivariate tests, and UX experiments to inform ongoing site improvements.
  • Use insights to help refine copy, design, layout, user funnels, and interactions to support better engagement and conversion.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of professional Webflow experience, including hands-on ownership of production Webflow sites.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Webflow's visual development ecosystem; familiarity with JavaScript preferred.
  • Experience with technical and on-page SEO, including structured data, sitemaps, page optimization, and search intent.
  • Understanding of AEO practices such as schema markup, FAQ structures, conversational query optimization, and answer-first content.
  • Grasp of web performance metrics and website optimization tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console, and SEMrush).
  • Experience managing SSL certificates, hosting, and general website security best practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and working with data or experimentation teams.
