Website Project Manager

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Project Management team to support the web specialist team (Adobe Experience Manager) in the estimation process for specific project categories, potentially consulting with appropriate technical teams. This is a 6 – month contract + extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Irvine, CA, and the role is on-site 3 days/week (Mon Wed) Remote (Thurs and Fri). Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

Website Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive overview of all active web projects within the assigned therapeutic area, actively driving projects forward in partnership with the web specialists team.
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, proactively identifying potential challenges and supporting the web team to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues, recommending process-based solutions.
• Understand the AEM authoring environment and publishing process to effectively assess optimal delivery strategies.
• Support web specialists with Veeva submission tasks and track project status within Veeva.
• Lead and facilitate efficient status calls for the web channels team, highlighting potential risks and connecting relevant information between projects within the assigned therapeutic area.

Website Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management best practices.
• Solid understanding of technical development for responsive websites, emails, banners, and iPad applications.
• 3+ years of experience contributing to enterprise website projects, including migrations and online production, using a web content management system (WCM) such as AEM.
• Strong understanding of web development principles.
• Competency in web UX conventions and standards, including accessibility and SEO.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Trello, or Workfront.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with Veeva.
• Experience with Workfront.
