The Opportunity

Soap Central is looking for enthusiastic writers with a knack of following the latest entertainment trends related to US and World news, memes, lifestyle, and culture to join our Content team at Soap Central.

Key Responsibilities:

Write 5-6 features/ news stories a day (Between 600-1500 words) mainly listicles, breakout meme trends, news and feature stories on humor, lifestyle, culture and more.
Minimum of 100 features monthly.
Must have thorough knowledge about content writing, article structure and the US Entertainment vertical at large.
Knowledge of social media trends and content sourcing via Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.
Must have strong command over the English language, with minimal factual and grammatical errors in writing
Should be active in suggesting unique ideas to boost Pop culture coverage.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of the Pop Culture and Lifestyle industry and a natural flair for spotting viral topics, with the ability to execute timely articles swiftly.
Excellent command of the English language (US) is a must.
Should have a knack for sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
Excellent content acquisition skills from viral platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitter,Instagram and more.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
