Job Description

As a WordPress Developer, you will develop and maintain WordPress websites, collaborating with designers and content creators to deliver high-quality websites that meet client needs. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, integrating with third-party APIs and services, optimizing website performance and security, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated on WordPress trends. You'll work as part of a team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Must have:
  • Proven experience building websites with WordPress (3+ years)
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development
  • Familiarity with best practices for responsive design and accessibility
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

If so, we want to hear from you! We are a BlazeSoft, a gaming company in Toronto, turning gaming into a blazing experience, and we're looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our growing team. This is a full-time IN OFFICE position.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our WordPress websites. You will work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure high-quality websites that meet our clients' needs and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
Integrate with third-party APIs and services
Optimize website performance and security
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends and best practices
Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver projects on time and within budget



Requirements

Proven experience building websites with WordPress (3+ years)
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Experience with custom theme and plugin development
Familiarity with best practices for responsive design and accessibility
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
