As a Senior DevEx Engineer at Classy, you'll design and implement robust cloud solutions supporting billions of dollars in annual processing. You'll share expertise, foster continuous improvement, and participate in strategic cloud architecture decisions.  Responsibilities include enhancing system performance, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, developing the internal development platform, and managing IaC.  You'll work with distributed data systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance.  This remote role based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, requires strong collaboration and communication skills within a fast-paced environment.

Join Classy's Devex team as a Senior Devex Engineer. The platform engineering team provides internal services to reduce the cognitive load that would be required from stream-aligned teams to develop these underlying services. This crucial role focuses on building and maintaining the platform that allows our engineers to design and deliver an advanced cloud infrastructure vital for our online fundraising platform, which supports nonprofits worldwide. You will be responsible for shaping our Platform Engineering vision and empowering our engineers to deliver world-class products in support of non-profits who are changing the world every day.&nbsp;
This is a remote position. Candidates considered for this role will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

<li>Design and implement robust, fault-tolerant cloud solutions to support the processing of billions of dollars annually.</li>

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or 6+ years equivalent practical experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of 4 years experience designing and managing scalable cloud-based infrastructure, preferably in SaaS environments.</li>
<li>A deep sense of quality and sharp engineering skills with solid computer science fundamentals.</li>
<li>Expertise in one or more Cloud Providers (AWS preferred)</li>
<li>Expertise using IaC (Terraform preferred)</li>
<li>Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and with Kubernetes</li>
<li>Proficiency in software architecture, including asynchronous event-driven architecture and microservices.</li>
<li>Proficiency in application performance management (APM) with tools like NewRelic, DataDog, and Splunk.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience developing applications with Java, kotlin, NodeJS, or PHP.</li>
<li>Skilled in managing distributed data systems and troubleshooting complex issues under high load.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in building high-volume transaction systems and familiar with compliance regulations like PCI, SOC2, and GDPR.</li>
<li>Strong collaborative skills with experience in leading initiatives and working with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultural backgrounds.</li>
