About the Role: A Senior Backend Engineer at Madison Logic designs, develops and take ownership of key systems. You will evaluate and make technical decisions within the context of the larger project and application stack and ensure quality, scalable code is created. A Senior Backend Engineer must be willing and able to mentor other engineers within the Madison Logic team. Our senior engineers provide technical leadership and direction to the team and share their opinions and experiences effectively. You will be a driving force on a team that is building and maintaining a best in breed application stack with a focus on our data driven APIs. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead a cross functional team and providing technical leadership to the Product Managers</li><li>Ensuring software features are delivered on time with usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability at their core</li><li>Build and document third party integrations for Data connections using appropriate technologies and architectures</li><li>Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality</li><li>Generating reusable code libraries and frameworks</li><li>Help our team grow from your expertise, experience, and perspectives </li></ul>
Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Ability to work in-office during UK Shift Timing (11:00am – 8:00pm Local Time) Required</li><li>Fluent in English language (verbal and written) and possessing a clear and concise communication style</li><li>Masters degree plus 6+yrs experience as a Backend/ Node.js engineer or 8+yrs experience as a Backend engineer</li><li>Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficient in at least one additional coding language, including but not limited to Golang, Java, Python, C++, Rust</li><li>Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems</li><li>Good grasp of software engineering and how to build a system in scalable and extensive manner</li><li>Have experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services</li><li>Understanding of component-based development ideas, extensive experience with Angular, React, Vue.js , or any other equivalent library required</li><li>Understanding of concurrency, database, and message queue is a plus</li><li>Fluent in English </li></ul>
Desired Characteristics <ul><li>Self-Sufficient and proactive nature, able &amp; comfortable "figuring things out", resorting to escalation only when after exhausting all other options</li><li>Strong sense of urgency required</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for explaining complex concepts in a clear &amp; concise manner across all levels and functions</li><li>Team members are encouraged to work collaboratively with an emphasis on results, not on hierarchy or titles </li></ul>

₹22,00,000 - ₹26,50,000 a year Expected Compensation: (Dependent upon Experience) Fixed CTC: 22 LPA - 26.5 LPA Pay Transparency/Equity: We are committed to paying our team equitably for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience.
