As a Web Engineer at Truecaller, you'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle for web applications.  You'll build scalable, user-friendly products used by 400+ million users, requiring a strong focus on user experience.  The Ads team focuses on monetizing Truecaller's inventory through targeted advertising, working at a planetary scale with billions of ad impressions daily.  Responsibilities include building ad solutions and working with advertiser partners to drive revenue growth.  You'll leverage technologies like Jetpack Compose and Kotlin, handling massive API loads.  The role requires a strong understanding of JavaScript, modern development practices, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.

We at Ads Product are all about making Ads more meaningful &amp; relevant to our users and help drive marketing objectives for our partners/advertisers. Ads is one of the ways Truecaller monetizes the APP, and thus holds a critical role in driving Truecaller revenues. Truecaller is one of the largest standalone publishers in India and emerging markets like Egypt, North Africa etc.&nbsp;
Mission - The Ads team is responsible for monetizing Truecaller inventory through ads by offering targeted advertising solutions to our demand partners.
Responsible for - Driving revenue growth for Truecaller by building ads solutions and selling our ads offerings to our advertiser partners in India and outside.
We work at a planetary scale, serving billions of ad impressions daily. Our APIs handle a massive load, with some reaching 300K requests per second. This is serious performance engineering!
The Truecaller app is on over 400 million devices globally, and our code needs to run flawlessly on all of them. We leverage the latest tech like Jetpack Compose and Kotlin to ensure efficiency and maintainability.
As a Web Engineer, you will be involved in the whole cycle of product development on the web. Everything you release will reach 400+ millions of our users, which requires a solid focus on the end-user experience and usability
What you bring in: &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>2-5&nbsp; years of experience.</li>
<li>Experience working in one of the frameworks such as Vue or Angular or React.</li>
<li>Good understanding of modern JavaScript development incl. application lifecycle, asynchronous server communication, and UI components.</li>
<li>Sound and Solid understanding of CS fundamentals.&nbsp;</li>
<li>You are passionate about writing clean, maintainable and efficient code.</li>
<li>You have a mindset to get things done, maintain high standards by shipping high quality code and to continuously improve what you are doing. </li>
</ul>
The impact you will create:&nbsp;

<li>Play a crucial role in the team and own at least one of the web applications.</li>
<li>Build a scalable product with good UX for the company.</li>
<li>Open to discussing and coming up with ideas to implement for a better user experience</li>

It would be great if you also have:

<li>Experience writing universal JavaScript applications with frameworks such as Nuxt.js or Next.js</li>
<li>You know how to work with and configure build tools and bundlers such as webpack.</li>
<li>Worked with a product based company or startup.</li>
<li>Experience with application state handling such as Vuex, Pinia</li>
<li>Experience with any of the testing tools</li>
<li>Experience in modern front-end builds pipelines and tools.</li>
