3D Artist

The 3D artist is responsible is responsible for hard surface modeling, UVs, texturing, lighting, and rendering for a variety of commercial door hardware products and solution-based images. The 3D artist will follow an established pipeline to produce high-quality, photo realistic still images. The 3D artist has a strong attention to detail and is proficient in Maya, V-Ray, Substance Painter and Photoshop.

What You Will Do

• Work independently and as part of the team to deliver excellent product rendering assets to support multiple commercial brands and product categories
• Consult with the Digital Marketing Transformation Manager on project readiness, timelines
• Maintain a high level of quality of lighting, texturing and final renders while working within time and design constraints and balancing application performance
• Effectively communicate and collaborate across functional teams and disciplines
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Proficient in Zbrush, Maya, Photoshop, and Substance Painter or other projection-based texturing software
• Advanced photorealistic texturing and lighting expertise (product lighting experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and project management skills with adherence to file management and nomenclature formats
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication and excels in working within a team environment
• Ability to receive and provide feedback while working under tight, but reasonable, deadlines
• Candidates will display their attention-to-detail through a portfolio to be considered
• Bachelor’s degree in 3D Modeling and Animation, Fine Arts or related field with a portfolio of product or architectural visualization preferred
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred
• Position requires travel up to 10%
