This Account Executive role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales within the French market. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious quarterly growth targets, managing a portfolio of medium and large businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with clients, driving customer growth through exceptional sales experiences, and establishing credibility with executives. The ideal candidate will possess strong consultative sales skills, fluency in English and French, and a deep understanding of online marketing strategies. They will be responsible for understanding client growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans for achieving business and marketing objectives. The role involves working with existing advertising companies to find optimal advertising solutions using Google's products.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support the client management in this market.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics; expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in France, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business growth and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
