Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on growing advertising business across channels by providing data-driven recommendations aligned with client objectives. Responsibilities include consulting with advertising companies, helping them understand the value of Google solutions, planning and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, and collaborating with customers and agencies to expand relationships. The role requires analyzing data, developing strategic plans, and working with cross-functional teams to drive long-term growth. Fluent communication in Romanian and English is essential for managing client relationships in the CEE region. The ideal candidate possesses experience in advertising, sales, or marketing, with a strong understanding of the digital media landscape.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising, sales, or marketing
  • Fluent in Romanian and English
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Data analysis and strategic planning
  • Client relationship management
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • Digital marketing campaign management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Romanian and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience in managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data-driven POVs and recommendations that align with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Help customers understand the value of Google solutions and wider marketing trends in order to plan, buy, optimize, measure their digital marketing campaigns in order to drive business success. Work towards ambitious goals while prioritizing and delivering an excellent experience to Google's customers.
  • Collaborate and consult with customers and their agencies with the goal of extending relationships, grow the customer and optimizing their advertising.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to develop solid strategic plans and prepare compelling narratives to drive growth.
  • Partner with fellow account team members and a set of cross-functional partners (e.g. gTech, IGT, Product Specialists) to drive business opportunities that build long term growth.
