Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on large retail eCommerce clients. Responsibilities include providing trusted business partnership for client marketing solutions, excellent customer service, identifying and solving client problems, leveraging Google's resources for campaign optimization, identifying opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment, and building strong relationships with customers and agencies. The ideal candidate will be skilled in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting. They will work closely with clients to develop and execute digital advertising strategies, ensuring campaign success and client satisfaction. Experience in online ad sales is preferred. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. This position is based in Tokyo, Japan.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in online sales/marketing
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Build client relationships
  • Optimize client campaigns
Good to have:
  • Experience in online ad sales
  • Experience working with large clients

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in online ad sales, business development, marketing or consulting sales.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
  • Provide customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
  • Leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment. 
  • Build relationships with customers and agencies and educate them on new product features.
