Job Description

Skydance Animation seeks an Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in month-end closing and daily duties. Must be proficient in Excel and Navision, with keen attention to detail and fluency in English & Spanish.

Must have:

Accounting degree
Month-end closing
Advanced Excel
Navision knowledge

As an Accountant, you will be managing the budget & control process and monthly submission of cost reports and production budgets.

Responsibilities

Reconciles general ledger accounts for productions.
Monitors the analytical distribution of project staff.
Assists in the month-end accounting process reports, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the closing procedures.
Provides financial status information and prepares month-end reports.
Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
Responsible for budgeting based on production plans.
Accomplishes accounting and organization targets as needed.

Requirements

Accounting degree or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting department, dealing with month-end closing and daily duties.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and desirable in Navision.
Keen attention to detail.
High level of English and Spanish.

About Skydance Interactive

About Animation

In 2017, Skydance formed an animation division to develop and produce a slate of high-end feature films and television series in partnership with Spain’s Ilion Animation Studios. Skydance’s first three animated features are Luck, Split (working title), and Powerless (working title). Luck, directed by Alessandro Carloni (Kung Fu Panda 3) and written by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger, is a comedy that pulls back the curtain on the millennia-old battle between the organizations of good luck and bad luck that secretly affects our daily lives. Split, directed by Vicky Jenson (Shrek) and written by Linda Woolverton, tells the story of Elian, a teenager who comes of age using her magical powers to defend her family when the opposing forces of light and darkness threaten to divide her kingdom. Nathan Greno (Tangled) is set to direct Powerless. The studio is located in Los Angeles, CA.
