Join Google to build the best tools in the world for AI developers. As an AI Developer Relations Engineer, you will work on products like Google AI Studio, the Gemini API, Gemma open models, Imagen, Veo, Google Colaboratory, and Kaggle. You will be the interface between Google and the developer community, advocating for their needs, answering their questions, speaking at conferences, participating in hackathons and engagements, creating amazing demos, and contributing to SDKs and frameworks. You will partner with product and engineering to bring cutting-edge AI techniques to developers. Responsibilities include building and nurturing a vibrant community of developers, speaking at conferences, running hackathons, authoring blog posts, creating videos, partnering with product and engineering teams, ensuring a high-quality developer experience, identifying and solving points of friction, bringing developer feedback to product and engineering teams, advocating for user needs, creating and teaching online courses, and creating code examples and inspiring demos.
Good To Have:
- 5 years of experience in an external facing role
- Community or open source contributions
- Experience in existing social media presence or interest in creating one
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools
- Experience programming in JavaScript or Python
- Experience with testing, designing and influencing software launches
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools including deep learning, neural networks, and Generative AI.
- Experience programming in JavaScript or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in an external facing role, community or open source contributions.
- Experience with testing, designing and influencing software launches.
- Experience in existing social media presence in social media platforms or interest in creating one.

Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a vibrant community of developers around Google's Gemini API and Google AI Studio, Gemma, Google Colaboratory, and Kaggle. Speak at conferences (Google I/O, and Cloud Next, developer events), and run hackathons to explore new use-cases for AI. Author blog posts and create videos to help developers succeed.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ship new models and features. Ensure a high quality developer experience across Software Development Kits (SDKs), examples, documentation and communicate new AI techniques clearly to developers.
- Identify and solve points of friction in the developer experience. Bring developer feedback to product and engineering teams, advocate for the needs of users.
- Create and teach online courses and create code examples and inspiring demos.
