Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an Application Development Engineer II. Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in requirements gathering, providing technical insights and addressing limitations
  • Offer innovative logic approaches aligned with desired solutions, while identifying potential gaps in requirements
  • Develop clean, efficient logic meeting business needs, continuously optimizing performance
  • Write clear comments and design documentation for easy understanding
  • Minimize production issues through careful design and comprehensive unit testing
  • Create formal requirements document and obtain required approvals
  • Conduct internal testing and create technical design documentation
  • Assist with post promotion troubleshooting
  • Support QA/UAT testing, swiftly addressing issues through root cause analysis
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient logic solutions that meet business requirements within specified timelines
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance logic performance and streamline workflows through proactive optimization efforts
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, actively participating in team discussions, and providing constructive feedback to ensure smooth project progression

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
  • Programming/Coding experience
  • Business Analysis experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Workflow Configuration experience
  • SQL Query experience
  • Previous experience working in these roles: Business Systems Analyst, Developer, Software Engineer

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

Salary: $48 - $64 per hour
