Job Description

As a key member of the team, you will architect IT infrastructure integrations for newly acquired companies, minimizing disruption and maximizing acquisition value. You'll partner with Engagement Managers, understand business/technical requirements, translate them into solutions with effort estimates, and consult with Business and Application/DevOps teams. You'll lead the technical solution from definition to implementation, collaborating with other teams. Responsibilities include influencing internal teams, presenting to Business/IT teams, providing innovative solutions, creating documentation (architecture diagrams), and offering trusted viewpoints on customer integrations. The role requires strong communication, technical acumen, strategic thinking, and collaboration.

Must have:

B.S. in CS/SE/MIS or equivalent
4+ years IT business integration architecture experience
Broad IT background (compute, storage, networking etc.)
Cloud (Azure/AWS), Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud experience
CI/CD, DevOps, Agile Methodologies knowledge
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Good to have:

3+ years customer-facing role with large high-tech orgs
3+ years M&A integration experience
Experience in developing business strategies for enterprise transformation
Understanding of data privacy, risk management, and compliance

Project description

As a key member of this team, you will help architect the IT infrastructure integration of newly acquired companies, minimizing business disruption and ensuring the company is maximizing the value of acquisition through integration.

In this role, you will partner with Engagement Managers/Integration Leads and be responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements of the engagement. You will translate the business and technical requirements into solutions and level-of-effort estimates for implementing those solutions. Architects will be in a consultative role with the Business and Application/DevOps teams, anticipating their needs and applying the benefit of previous experience and expertise to the engagement. The Architect will lead the overall technical solution from definition to start of implementation while collaborating with other team members and departments to support solutioning.

Responsibilities

Lead technologist for the integration, responsible for the technical success of each business partner integration program

Influence internal Infrastructure Teams to adapt services and processes to better meet integration requirements

Present to Business/IT teams on our client infrastructure and hosting services and identify the benefits of hosting and/or integrating

Provide thoughtful and innovative solutions to complex technical problems

Consider options, design, estimate and communicate solutions and recommendations that meet customer needs and are in alignment with business and IT goals/objectives

Produce documentation such as high-level architecture diagrams to support recommended solutions

Provide reliable and trusted points of view of relatable customer integrations. For example, how other customers with similar needs have succeeded in their integrations

Skills

Must have

B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent

4+ years of leadership and IT business integration architecture experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment

Broad IT background with knowledge in various technologies, hosting platforms and concepts/methodologies (Not all are required)

Technologies

 Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Backups, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, Edge Security, User Productivity Integration, Desktop technologies, Application Hosting, Call Centers and M365

Hosting Platforms

 Cloud (Azure/AWS)

 Hybrid Cloud

 Private Cloud

Concepts/Methodologies

 CI/CD, DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Multi-Tier Architecture

Familiar with various security/regulatory processes including standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications

Ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.

Highly motivated with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities

Demonstrated ability to influence opinion without direct managerial control

Possess a strategic and critical thinking mindset while maintaining a Customer focused perspective

Crisp, articulate written and verbal communication skills

Potential of travel up to 25%

Nice to have

3+ years in a customer-facing role engaging with large high-tech organizations

3+ years of previous M&A integration experience

Experience in identifying and cultivating business strategies, drivers and value principles as they apply to enterprise business transformation objectives

Proven ability of developing relationships across technical, management, and executive levels

Sound understanding of industry standards around data privacy, risk management, and compliance requirements
