Artiste de l’environnement sénior (modélisation)

Rejoignez-nous dans notre aventure et aidez-nous à créer notre prochain jeu d'aventure linéaire qui se déroule dans la Chine historique et qui propose un style visuel réaliste et un authentique gameplay de combat traditionnel. Le projet utilise Unreal Engine 5 et est co-développé en collaboration entre Montréal et notre studio principal en Chine.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un Artiste Environnemental Senior pour soutenir nos équipes de production. Le candidat doit avoir une solide expérience du Level Art et de la modélisation. 

Principales responsabilités :

  • Créer des actifs high-poly et low-poly pour les environnements du jeu, y compris les textures et les matériaux.
  • Communiquer sur la demande avec les parties prenantes, rechercher des références.
  • Respecter les limites techniques du projet pour la création des assets 
  • Aider à la résolution des problèmes.
  • Une expérience dans la création d'éléments organiques (rochers, branches de bois, statut de Bouddha, etc.) est un plus.

Qualifications :

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la production d'éléments de jeux vidéo
  • Excellentes compétences en modélisation 3D et en texturation
  • Excellente maîtrise de 3D Studio Max et/ou Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop.
  • Compréhension des techniques PBR (rendu basé sur la physique).
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer
  • Une expérience de développement pertinente avec Unreal est un plus.
  • Une expérience de l'examen de travaux d'externalisation est un plus.

Senior Environment Artist (Modeling)

Join us on our journey and help us create our next unannounced linear adventure game which is set in historical China and features a realistic visual style and authentic traditional combat gameplay. The project is making use of Unreal Engine 5 and is co-developed in collaboration between Montreal and our main studio in China. 

We are looking for a Senior Environment Artist to support our production teams. The candidate must have solid experience of Level Art and modeling.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create high-poly and low-poly assets for game environments including textures and materials  
  • Communicate on the request with stakeholder, search for references.  
  • Respect the technical limitations of the project for assets creation  
  • Help with troubleshoot and fix problems 
  • Experience of creating organic assets(rocks, wood Branches, Buddha Status etc) is a plus  

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ Years Experience on Video Game Asset production 
  • Excellent 3D modelling and texturing skills 
  • Highly proficient with 3D Studio Max and / or Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop. 
  • Understanding of PBR (physically based rendering) techniques 
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate 
  • Relevant development experience with Unreal is a plus 
  • Experience of reviewing outsourcing work is a plus
