Our Data Center Infrastructure & Services team supports the company's fast growing DC Asset Management foot prints, by managing datacenter assets and logistics. Our mission is to build resilient, integrated, innovative global Asset Management solutions and enable our customers to grow and scale. The Data Center Infrastructure & Services team is looking for an Asset Manager who will manage the inbound and outbound logistics into Data Centers, overseeing asset storage operations, supporting asset management activities such as cycle count, and supporting decommission related operations. The ideal candidate we're looking for would be a customer-focused, result-driven leader who can stay resilient against challenges or stress, apply best practices and judgements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and yet be hands-on with tactical tasks.
- Assist the regional IDC Logistics, asset and inventory management team members, including a team of Data Center Logistics contractors
- Be the point of escalation of supply chain operational related matters
- Perform regional asset management workflows. Influence cross functional teams on process gaps and improvement
- Perfom asset operations including inbound receiving, transfers, stock distribution, RMA, and decommission at Data Centers and warehouses
- Support last mile delivery operation involving integrators, data centers, and warehouses. Facilitate communications with LSPs and suppliers
- Work closely with Datacenter Operations and Engineering, Network, Security, and Platform teams to implement changes, maintain asset accuracy, report incidents, and analyze discrepancies among physical, system, and financial records
- Support auditing process, lead cycle count activities and ensure adherence to financial and compliance standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a technical or business field
- Proven years Data Center and Infrastructure experience and Supply Chain and Logistics experience
- Past experience in managing a team
- Experience collaborating with individuals across internal and external organizations, other geographies
- Execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Must be proactive and willing to engage directly in operational activities, demonstrating a hands-on approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a technical field or business field
- Proven years of experience managing a team
- Experience with data center hardware, including servers and network equipment
- Experienced in managing asset management contractors for daily operational activities
- Analytical skills to query data sources and glean insights from complex data
