Summary

The Assistant Manager - HR Operations at DNEG will be a passionate and energetic go-to person for employees. Key responsibilities include performance management (planning, implementing, and addressing performance gaps), designing and implementing HR policies, business partnering, workplace management (monitoring health and addressing attrition), and overseeing daily HR operations (payroll, reports, grievances, compliance). The role also involves managing HRIS/HRMS systems, developing employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring a positive work environment. Experience in payroll processing, MS Office (especially Excel), and ERP systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday preferred) is essential.
Must have:
  • 6+ years HR experience (1+ year as Assistant Manager)
  • Payroll processing expertise
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • ERP experience (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Performance management & HR policy implementation
  • Employee engagement & retention strategies
Good to have:
  • MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute

Position at DNEG

Key Responsibilities:

A passionate and energetic go-to person for the employees, having in-depth experience in core HR practices, with quick turn-around and a problem-solver. 

 

Needs to Do:

  • Performance Management: plan and implement performance management system to map, train and appreciate existing/potential performers. Map the gaps in performance through TNI, PIP etc. 
  • HR Policies: To help design and implement best policies/practices for a healthy work environment. 
  • Business partnering: To build and maintain good rapport with all the business functions/units for a better coordination.
  • Workplace management: Keep the management apprised on workplace health based on attrition data, open forums, one-on-one sessions etc.
  • Day to day operations : overlook the operational aspects of HR like entire payroll process, reports management, manpower gaps, employee grievances, HR related legal compliance etc.
  • HRIS/HRMS: help in streamlining various reports, proper implementation and functioning of existing HR tools.
  • Employee Engagement and retention: Develop innovative employee engagement initiatives and drive them passionately to improve employee satisfaction, enhance retention and nurture a positive working environment.

Needs to Know: 

Payroll processing.

MS Office, adroit in MS Excel

 

Needs to have:

6+ years of Experience in HR, with at least 1 year as Assistant Manager

Exposure in ERP like – Oracle, People soft etc. Having knowledge in Workday would be an added advantage.

MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute

 

Needs to Be:

Excellent Communicator

Analytical

Well organized with eye for details

Result oriented and a go-getter
