Job Details
Based in Vilnius, the Bazaarvoice Finance organization is looking for an accounting professional – Associate Accountant to join the finance team. This position will focus on daily communication with external accounting partner, providing primary information for preparing various Tax returns, submitting accounting information to the accounting service provider and auditors in accordance with local and US requirements.
What You Will Do
- Communicating with external accounting partners (resolving/raising queries, dealing with information exchange portal)
- Assisting in the preparation of international VAT/GST and CIT returns
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations
- Assisting with annual financial statements preparation and audits
- Posting journal entries in ERP system
- Assisting with ad hoc audits as they arise (wage tax, employer compliance, expats)
- Creating new finance-related vendors and purchase orders in the procurement system
- Managing paperwork of director changes in international subsidiaries
- Collecting information for regulatory reporting in various countries includingFBT reporting in Australia, income tax declarations in Lithuania and PSA, P11D and STBV reporting in the UK
- Supporting US tax audits and monthly sales tax file preparation
- Preparing Lithuanian and UK statistics reports
- Assisting with special projects as they arise
Who You Are
- Up to 1 year of accounting or audit experience
- Strong attention to details and organisational skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)
- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
