Job Summary:

Hulu is seeking an Originals Associate Marketing Manager within the Hulu Originals Marketing Team who will support our animated and scripted slate of Original series. We are looking for a strategic marketer who will ideate and support creative thinking on Hulu Originals campaigns. You will bring your love of animation and entertainment combined with a desire grow your brand-building expertise, media-savvy, and creative insight to build outstanding campaigns that drive awareness and engagement of Hulu Originals. The candidate will support  the marketing lead for Hulu Originals across all titles and should be highly organized, ambitious, disciplined, and able to work effectively cross-departmentally to understand key players, communicate effectively among them and gain buy-in. This position requires you to hit the ground sprinting.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of  strategy, positioning, and target audiences for Hulu Original animated and scripted series. You will support the socialization of the marketing strategy across all integrated departments, as well as key partners including executive teams, development, and producers/creators.
  • Manage cross-functional team planning to develop and execute 360 campaigns, including You will collaborate with creative partners and cross-functional teams to deliver assets for the campaigns.  
  • Attend and organize key meetings, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents (marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget reviews, etc.) to ensure execution against goals.
  • Work with external marketing partners/agencies to develop and implement “big idea” marketing initiatives and apply them across digital, social, paid media, earned media, etc.
  • Ensure resources are prioritized by managing and driving key deadlines and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
  • Execute marketing plans that extend and enhance our ability to reach new and existing audiences and reach show specific & company goals
  • Analyze the effectiveness of media and marketing data to better optimize spend and performance across various marketing channels.
  • Track budget and spend
  • Investigate and track industry trends and innovative media opportunities to optimize future campaigns

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years minimum of relevant experience in marketing original entertainment content and a proven history of executing content marketing campaigns
  • Interest in animation
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Self-starter, curious mindset, and a willingness to learn
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Proven understanding of media/advertising and entertainment marketplace
  • Ability to partner with multiple constituencies in a team environment
  • A strong creative eye and presentation skills

Please note that this role is currently located in the Santa Monica offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank in 2025.


The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $78,200 to $104,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
