As Associate Producer, you will play a key role in ensuring our projects move forward smoothly—bringing structure, clarity, and motivation to the team. You’ll help coordinate tasks, facilitate communication across disciplines, and make sure our developers have what they need to succeed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience managing videogames, software, or IT projects.
- Understanding software development methodologies such as AGILE, SCRUM, Waterfall, and KANBAN.
- Experience working with Jira, Trello, or other project management software or tools.
- Experience using Google docs and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and assess risks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable communicating complex ideas in English.
- Strong written communication skills (English and Spanish)
- Self-starter.
- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time, maintaining clarity and focus.
- Passion for videogames.
Responsibilities
- Assist Producers with clerical tasks as needed.
- Assist Producers in scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, and following up on the next steps as needed.
- Support Producers in documenting and creating reports.
- Proactively propose solutions to roadblocks and issues affecting the team.
- Escalate any significant issues with the Producer.
- Continuous learning about video game pipeline production.
- Develop soft skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork.
- Assist in the planning and executing of game development, ensuring that deadlines are met, appropriate resources are allocated, and established milestones are followed.
- Support the team in playtesting sessions.
- Continue learning about the video game industry and project management practices to grow professionally and contribute more effectively to the team.
