Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team focused on developing high-performance routing software. This role involves creating and maintaining automated tests based on existing manual scenarios to ensure software quality. You will review manual scenarios and automation code, collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration, analyze test results, document defects, and participate in planning and improving testing processes, including client calls. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in test automation and code review, proficiency in Python, understanding of BDD concepts, testing methodologies, experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and intermediate written English.
Must have:

  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Familiarity with Robot Framework

Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team developing high-performance routing software. Our solutions leverage cutting-edge technologies like Vector Packet Processing (VPP) and DPDK to deliver exceptional packet processing performance for modern edge and cloud networking needs.

Having this job, you will: 
· Develop and maintain automated tests per existing manual scenarios to ensure software quality.
· Review manual scenarios and automation code.
· Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD processes.
· Analyze test results and document identified defects. Check bug fixes.
· Participate in the planning and improvement of testing processes.
· Participate in calls with the client.

We expect:
· At least 2 years of experience in test automation/code review.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
· Understanding BDD concepts.
· Understanding of testing methodologies and experience in creating test documentation.
· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
· Written English on at least intermediate level.

Nice to have, but not required:
· Experience with GUI automation and knowledge of tools like Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
· Networking knowledge or hands-on experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
· Familiarity with the Robot Framework for test automation.
