Job Description

R5 Labs is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a long-term project in Milan. Responsibilities include cloud architecture assessment and planning, solution design, migration strategy and execution, and client consulting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in complex data center migration projects to Public Cloud and 2 years of experience in Cloud Delivery (AWS, Azure, OCI). Strong knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud computing architectures, migration guidelines, and Public Cloud services is essential. Experience with Cost Saving solutions, monitoring and auditing systems, and customer-facing roles is also required.

Must have:

2-3 years experience in complex data center migration projects to Public Cloud
2 years experience in Cloud Delivery (AWS, Azure, OCI)
Strong knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud computing architectures
Experience with Cost Saving solutions
Experience with monitoring and auditing systems
Strong customer-facing skills
Teamwork skills
Fluent in English (B2 or higher)

Good to have:

PMP certification
Agile methodology experience
AWS certifications

Responsabilità

Cloud Architecture Assessment and Planning: Effettuare l’analisi e assessment delle infrastrutture dei Clienti, partecipando alla fase di High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD) e implementazione del journey to cloud.
Solution Design: Ideare e condurre attività di Proof of Concept.
Progettare infrastrutture complesse, cloud-oriented (hybrid/public), scalabili, resilienti, distribuite e fault-tolerant.
Migration Strategy and Execution: Supportare la migrazione verso il cloud, applicando strategie 7R (Rehosting, Replatforming, Refactoring, ecc.).
Client Consulting and Advisory: Interagisci direttamente con i clienti come referente tecnico, fornendo consulenza e supporto nella fase di implementazione e nei successivi miglioramenti delle soluzioni cloud.

Requirements

Almeno 2-3 anni di esperienza in progetti di migrazione di data center complessi su Public Cloud.
Almeno 2 anni di esperienza in Delivery cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI).
Profonda conoscenza delle architetture di cloud computing Amazon AWS, incluse le linee guida di migrazione e i principali servizi Public Cloud.
Competenza in soluzioni di Cost Saving e familiarità con sistemi di monitoring e auditing.
Ottima capacità customer-facing e attitudine al lavoro in team.
Ottimo livello di inglese, B2 o superiore
