Playtech's Development team is looking for a Backend Developer with PHP, responsible for the development and support of software applications, software defect fixing, and analysis of requirements for software projects.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

Develop software modules according to coding standards.
Optimize the performance of the application.
Follow internal company project and communication processes.
Create and review the documentation related to software development projects.
Give time estimates and status reports.
Fix defects in the software according to defect descriptions.
Take part in investigations and search for solutions to cross-component questions.
Validate and review software projects.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

Possess excellent knowledge of Git, Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL, PHP (OOP), Vue.js.
Have a good understanding of relational data structures.
Are familiar with REST APIs, Symfony Framework, Java Script, CSS, HTML.
Demonstrate knowledge of dependency management with composer and npm/yarn.
Know basic Linux principles and usage of bash commands.
Have experience in a team-oriented environment.
Communicate proficiently in English.

University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
