Job Description

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining backup solutions for a financial technology company. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VEEAM, IBM Spectrum Protect, Commvault, and scripting solutions. Knowledge of VTL, SAN, and TAN technologies is also essential.

Your role:

For the strengthening of the Midrange System Unit, we are looking for brilliant professionals to join the infrastructure team, specifically within backup solutions.

The ideal candidate will experience a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative environment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve technology and business objectives.

Your duties and responsibilities

· Design and implement backup solutions to meet business needs

· Configure, manage, and maintain backup systems

· Perform monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization activities to ensure stability and reliability

· Collaborate with development teams to ensure integration of backup solutions with other technologies

· Support security team to mitigate any vulnerability or threat

· Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations and changes made to backup systems

We might ask you to perform other tasks and duties as your role expands.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

• Degree in computer science/ engineering

• Knowledge of VEEAM / IBM Spectrum Protect / Commvault backup solutions

• Knowledge of VTL technology (Falconstor), Tape solutions (STK, Quantum, IBM), Repository (Data Domain, ECS, S3)

• Knowledge of scripting solutions (Powershell / Bash / Python etc) for support and troubleshooting

• Good competence of SAN and TAN (Container VEEAM, Spectrum Protect directory containers, HDS storage containers, DELL storage containers, CISCO MDS)

• Certifications in Backup/OS technologies are an adantage

• Excellent knowledge of English
